Before you sign up.
What does “free while in beta” actually mean?
Every plan is free to use right now, including Growth and Business. We will give notice before that changes — nothing starts charging on its own, and there is no card on file to charge.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. An email address and a password, and you are in.
Which payments can PhsarOS record?
Cash. The register records the amount tendered and works out the change. Card and KHQR are not supported yet — a sale taken by QR would have to be recorded another way, so it is worth knowing before you switch.
Can my staff see my profit?
No. Staff accounts can ring up sales and nothing else — product cost, margin, expenses and the profit-and-loss report are all hidden from them, and the restriction is enforced on the server rather than hidden in the interface.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
It stays in your account. Products you retire are soft-deleted rather than erased, so last month's sales keep the item they referred to instead of pointing at nothing.
